Don't live in the area but want to come for a trail ride?  No problem!  We have 4 awesome places you can stay right here on the farm.  Whether you like to sleep under the stars or prefer a bit more shelter, we have something you'll enjoy.  From our Appalachian Trail-style mountain shelter to the Avion on the hillside, we think you'll relish a night on the farm.

We love to meet our guests upon arrival if possible, and if not then, we almost always will meet you at least once when we fill up water tanks or replenish your wood supply. Otherwise, guests are given their privacy unless they want to join us milking the cows, doing chores in the morning and/or evening, or enjoying a horseback ride. Then we love getting to know guests better and sharing a little about ourselves as well!

Guests are welcome to enjoy the farm as we do: hiking the forest and field trails and splashing in the Little Wolftever creek; meandering down to the barns and interacting with the farm animals; browsing through the garden and perhaps picking something for breakfast, supper, or a snack; or just sitting by fire (we provide all the firewood you need) and enjoying the slower pace.

The sleek 23' Avion is set in a beautiful, private location at the base of Grindstone Mountain with a pastoral backdrop dotted with horses and cows. The Avion is complete with a reasonably-sized shower, a comfortable queen sized bed, outfitted kitchen, and even a coffee/hot water pot so you can enjoy a hot drink around the fire pit!

The Avion is an upgrade of the Airstream with a fun, vintage feel. The queen bed in the bedroom is made up on a thick memory foam mattress, the bathroom includes a stand up shower, and the kitchen has a nice sized fridge and freezer, stove and oven, and is outfitted with most of your basic necessities. The dining table folds out of the way for a cozy living room feel, or converts into a small bed that could fit up to two extra guests snugly.

Our cute Casita is set in a beautiful, private cove, with horse pastures and the barns just on the other side of the shade trees. A fire pit with unlimited wood is the perfect final touch. The Casita cozily sleeps 1-2 people (a third could fit on the table-bed).

The Casita, or "little house" (think tiny), is a delightful way to "almost rough it"! Complete with an almost full-sized bed, prettily made up on a memory foam pad (Note: our 5'3" and 5'8" selves fit snugly, which we don't mind; if you need room to roll around and stretch out, look at our other listing for the Avion!), a small dining area, toilet and shower-lette, small refrigerator, heating and air, and an outside awning with table and chairs, this little RV is the perfect way to "get away from it all", and yet still be within 5 minute access to fine dining and town. Please note: The Casita is perfect for the "vertically challenged." Everyone else might have to mind their noggins. Also note that the table can be converted into a small bed for a 3rd person if needed.

Enjoy stepping out of the bustle of urban life and into the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of our 500 acre farm. The three-sided, Appalachian Trail-styled shelter is set in a wooded, private location at the base of Grindstone Mountain with a pastoral backdrop dotted with horses and cows. The perfect location for an intimate getaway or a group experience, the Mountain Shelter is complete with a large firepit, stocked with wood, and of course, the iconic outhouse.

This is a primitive camping shelter. It is great for an intimate camping trip or a larger group that wants to be together outside for the weekend. The space includes a sleeping platform like you might find on the Appalachian Trail which comfortably sleeps at least 6 (we've lined up 15 before!), as well as plenty of room and trees outside the shelter for tents and extra hammocks. A fire pit with cooking grate and a simple table and bench are provided for your outdoor cooking pleasure, and a tank of potable water and a simple outhouse complete the outdoor experience. Please note: We do not provide bedding for this adventure.

The tent camping area is set in a private nook of the farm, with a pastoral backdrop dotted with horses and cows. The perfect location for an intimate getaway or a group experience, the tent camping area comes with a firepit stocked with wood and an outhouse.

The camping area is an open field surrounded by forest, trails and, in the summer, fireflies. There is a fire ring, a porta toilet, and water barrel with potable water. This site is for people who are looking to camp but still want to  be close to Chattanooga. For years we have hosted small groups, church youth, and college organizations at the site. Due to its secluded nature you truly have to know someone to have been introduced to it.
